It's a total tourist destination, but we may have found the most ideallic town in all of Southeast Asia: Luang Prabang. Sure, the whole city is a UNESCO heritage site, which means no trucks, and no weeds, and garbage collected in picturesque baskets. What you end up with is a gorgeous city dotted with slopping-roofed temples, and plenty of cafes and sidewalks lining the rivers that converge in the center of town, and wateralls and caves and amazing amazing food all served up with a basket of laotian sticky rice.
